The first Rice Boxx Cafe opened in 1994, but that wasn't when it started.  For that you have to go back a bunch of years, a few countries, and a fusion of different recipes.  The one thing in common with all the Rice Boxx restaurants is the great food.  When Tony Molavi and his wife, Wen-ru "Cathy" Wu opened their first restaurant, it was a family affair all the way.  Cathy brought family recipes from divers parts of Asia and places Oriental to a hungry public looking for great food.  Cathy had owned successful Asian restaurants and Tony had a strong business background.  Together they had a vision for building an attractive restaurant with a reputation for freshness, variety and good portions.

Rice Boxx has evolved from the original restaurant and menu to what you see today, a colorful, vibrant, multifaceted "national" look and feel with a dynamic international menu.  We offer our customers the best food, modestly priced, in comfortable surroundings with good service, whether dining-in or delivered to the home or office.  That's the Rice Boxx way, a thoughtful fusion of great food, great atmosphere and great service.
